These are
manufactured in sizes MT-3 and MT-4. When installed, they
rotate along with the component, hence they are not provided
with carbide tip. They are through hardened to 60-63 HRC.
Two shapes are available in both the sizes. STANDARD shape
is for regular jobs, whereas COPYING shape
is one relieved for closer tool approach without tool shank
fouling it. All these are provided with external threads
for extraction purpose. For this, Extraction Nut should be used to
prevent damage to Spindle bearings. These CENTRES are suitable for
Live Tailstock Spindle of most of the machines. |
